Ruth Sutherland released her latest album, “A Canadian Christmas” last December, and it’s now available for you to enjoy, right here. Check out the Music page for sound bytes. Don’t be without this CD this year - physical copies will be available at performances. Produced by Doug Feaver, “A Canadian Christmas” is Ruth's most sonically diverse album to date, incorporating influences from the major founding elements of Canada, including French, English, Aboriginal, Scottish, Irish and Ukranian, as well as original contemporary songs.

As one reviewer put it:

“Ruth’s great Christmas CD is true Canadian music - a remarkable fusion of Celtic and roots, traditional and original, old and new.”

Thanks to Ruth's band on the CD:
Doug Feaver - guitar, vocals, harmonica, percussion, boots
Stephen Fuller - violin, viola
Douglas Feaver - drums, percussion
Daniel Krawchuk - bass guitar

And special thanks to:
• Rick and Nancy Andrew for making Valleyview Studio a home while we were recording!
• Doug for producing this and getting me to sing notes I never knew I could sing
• Jamie Andrew for being so good at what he does, and for being so patient
• Dan Krawchuk for his wonderful artwork/photography on the CD!
